Why Do I keep falling?

One in four adults over the age of 60 experience a serious fall that results in injury at least once. Many of these falls could be prevented with the proper treatment.

Falls can occur due to:

  • Inappropriate use of an assistive device or the need for one

  • Dizziness

  • Limited range of motion

  • Decreased strength

  • Unlevel surface or cluttered walking area

  • Medical conditions

  • Vision problems

We can help to decrease your risk factors for falling BEFORE  you fall!

If you have already had a fall, we will assess to determine why the fall may have happened and work to improve your strength, posture, home environment, and endurance to decrease the chance of additional falls.
