Helpful Information
HOW OFTEN WILL YOU COME?
We will determine a recommended frequency on the day of your evaluation. However, YOU are the one who will decide how often you'd like to be seen! We don't sell packages, so you are never under an obligation to continue.
DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S ORDER?
Kentucky and Indiana are both "direct-access states". This means that you have immediate access to physical therapy services without a referral from a physician or other healthcare provider.
WHAT MAKES KMT DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS?
Your needs and goals are always our top priority. Your sessions will always be one-on-one and will never include a "cookie-cutter" program. We know your time and money are invaluable, so we will always fill your treatment time with as much education and hands-on treatment as is appropriate for you.
If you are looking for a highly personalized and unique approach to therapy, look no further! Your time with us will challenge you, motivate you and keep you accountable-- This is the way rehab is supposed to be!
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
If therapy is being provided to you in your home, the minimum charge will be $125. This will include up to one hour of hands-on treatment/education. If the session goes over one hour, you will be charged incrementally for the time we go over.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
KENTUCKIANA MOBILE THERAPY is a cash based (or "out-of-network") therapy practice, so no insurance is accepted. Don't let this idea scare you off just yet- rather take a moment to learn why we believe this is the best option for you!
By eliminating insurance companies from the equation, we are able to focus on high quality, personalized therapy. It allows you to receive full 60 minute one-on-one sessions. No more technicians doing most of your session or treating multiple patients at a time. The focus is always on YOU and your goals. Working out of network allows more freedom to treat your problems the way they should be treated, without the constraints of the insurance company. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not put your needs first, but WE will.
It's also important that you know your insurance company MAY COVER out of network Physical therapy. If this is the case, at your request, we will provide you with a super-bill after your sessions to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I'M DONE WITH THERAPY
We strongly believe in training for longevity, therefore we never "discharge" patients. You are always encouraged to check in with us at any time- whether it is because of pain, needing exercise updates, or just have a question. We are here to help motivate you and keep you accountable, no matter what stage of rehab you are in.
Once you have met your rehab goals and no longer need formal Physical Therapy consistently, you will still be in our records and call anytime to re-start if a new injury occurs.
